Drive Thru #PAWPantry
Available during the COVID-19 Stay-at-home Mandates

Post

To help keep pets and their people stay together and support our pet-loving community, the Sacramento SPCA is holding a twice-weekly drive thru #PAWPantry to provide free pet food to those who can’t afford food or make it to the store.

In the first seven days of operation, the Sacramento SPCA distributed free pet food to nearly 800 households.

Anyone can visit the drive thru #PAWPantry taking place at the Sacramento SPCA located at 6201 Florin Perkins Road in Sacramento from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday.

Pet owners should stay in their vehicles and follow drive thru signage and team member direction to pick up a bag of dog and/or cat food while supplies last.

The Sacramento SPCA’s PAWPantry is:

  • Open to residents in any county.
  • Intended to help with emergency pet food needs for those who have lost their jobs or do not have access to pet food due to the crisis.

An emergency supply of dog and/or cat food will be distributed to visitors as needed. Limit, one pantry distribution per household.

Those who wish to donate food are encouraged to stay home for the time being. If we need food donations at a later date, we will reach out to the community.
