Private Obedience Training
The Sacramento SPCA Training center offers affordable private obedience training for you and your dog. These sessions are great if you’d like to work one-on-one with a behavior specialist, don’t want to wait for the next group class to start, or are only interested in teaching your dog a few commands and want a tailored training curriculum
We are temporarily not offering behavior consultations or private obedience training until further notice. Please check our website regularly for for updates regarding these services.
Common obedience training cues we train your dog to do are:
- Sit
- Stay
- Come when called
- Polite walking
- Wait at doors
- And more!
To start, we recommend a 60-minute initial session; followed by 2-6 more 30-minute sessions
Prices for the first 60 minute session is $75.
All additional 30 minute sessions are $40.
If you are interested in scheduling private obedience training, please fill out our Private Obedience Training Form and email it to us at behavior@sspca.org. We will then contact you to help design a training program for you and your dog.
All private obedience training is held at the Sacramento SPCA Training Center by appointment only.
