Camp Kindness

General information

Camp Kindness at the Sacramento SPCA is a fun-filled way for kids to learn more about dogs, cats, and other companion animals. Designed to foster awareness about animals, Camp Kindness will include games, crafts, tours, guest speakers, animal-related education, professional demonstrations, veterinary observation, discussions, and plenty of fun! 

Winter Camp Registration opens on Tuesday, October 15th at 8am!

Camp Counselor Application

Teens ages 14+ are invited to apply to be Teen Counselors at winter sessions of Camp Kindness at Sacramento SPCA.  Teen counselors are a crucial part of our camp program and help with everything from leading games and crafts, to clean up, to being a role-model for our campers. Counselors will be selected based on an application and interview. Click here for counselor application!

Camp Scholarships

Financial assistance is available for children of low-income families through Anthem United. Check back in April 2020 for Summer Camp Kindness scholarship information.
