Vaccines and microchips are available in the lobby of the Sacramento SPCA Animal Services building from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Monday and Tuesday.

No appointment is necessary. Please be aware that wait times can be long and that our clinic is closed on holidays.

Licensing

Licensing options at the Sacramento SPCA:

Residents of the City of Sacramento or Sacramento County — Pet licenses can only be provided for those seeking a first-time license. Payment must be made by check or money order. Licenses are available during regular business hours and when license tags are in stock. Please try your local jurisdictional shelter before coming to the Sacramento SPCA for pet licensing (see below).
