Cute Puppy

Hercules was surrendered to us by his heartbroken family who couldn’t afford his veterinary care. He suffered a back injury that compressed the discs in his vertebrae causing his back legs to be paralyzed. With nowhere to turn, his family decided that giving up Hercules was better than putting him down. They pleaded with us to save his life and find him a good home. Today, Hercules is recovering and learning to walk again. His positive and happy attitude are contagious to anyone who meets him.

There are so many ways that you can help us help the animals. You can make a one-time gift, become a Constant Companion by setting up a monthly donation, give a gift in memory or in honor of a pet or human friend or family member and on and on. See all the ways you can give below.

Donate Now!

Your donation will support the mission of the Sacramento SPCA - helping animals and people throughout our community. Our staff and volunteers will care for more than 5,500 homeless animals this year alone. Your donation makes our work possible.

Overview

in Honor/In Memory

You can help the animals and give a gift in someone’s name (including pets!) as a memorial or for any occasion.

These days, one of the most appreciated gifts can be one that helps others. You can give a gift to the Sacramento SPCA to remember others for memorials, birthdays, anniversaries or any special occasion. For gifts of $25 or more, we will mail an acknowledgement to the recipient. Gifts of $250 or more will be listed in our Heartline newsletter. For more information please call our Development Office at (916) 504-2803 or 504-2843.
