Wellness Clinic

Low-Cost Veterinary Care Now Available

The Sacramento SPCA is taking pet health care to the next level. We believe every pet should have access to affordable veterinary care to keep them healthy and happy for years to come.

In conjunction with our vaccine clinics on Mondays and Tuesdays from 11AM-3PM, we are offering veterinary exams, treatments for minor medical conditions, expanded preventative care services (vaccinations, microchip, parasite control and prevention) and much more. 


Bark in the Ballpark
Grab your mutt and your mitt for a night of baseball

Please join us for our Annual Bark in the Ballpark benefiting the Sacramento SPCA. Everyone is welcome to participate in the pre-game dog parade and costumes are encouraged! If you can’t make it to Bark in the Ballpark you can exchange your ticket for any Sunday through Thursday 2018 Regular Season Home game. And brand new this year every Wednesday will be Wet Nose Wednesday and you can bring your dog to all Wednesday home games!

Leash Monsters: Reactivity
Manage and Modify Reactivity on Walks

In this seminar, we’ll give you some tips and tricks that will help you teach your dog to walk on leash without barking and/or lunging at other dogs, people, cars, etc.  We’ll also provide management and training strategies that will help build focus in your dog and work toward a happy, healthy, non-reactive relationship.


New Foster Parent Orientation

Interested in becoming a foster parent for the Sacramento SPCA? We have many animals that need your help! From unweaned kittens to dogs needing socialization, we have someone for you!

The orientation will take place here at our shelter at 6201 Florin-Perkins Road, Building A in the Multipurpose Room. We will cover what animals need foster care, supplies, how to identify common illnesses and more.
