ABOUT Cindy

How long have you been with the Sacramento SPCA Board?
I proudly joined the Sacramento SPCA Board in March 2026.

Where do you live?
I live in Roseville, California, and have lived in the greater Sacramento area all my life.

Tell us a little about your day, what do you do, what have you done?
My day is filled with the fluff and fun my beloved dogs bring to our household. When I’m not snuggling or entertaining them, I like to golf with my husband, meet friends for brunch or a glass of wine. My work hours are spent overseeing a financial operations team at a global company.

Are you currently participating in any other organizations or associations?
Every year I help coordinate a companywide charitable drive for the Sacramento Children’s Home.

What unique talents and skills do you bring to the Sacramento SPCA Board?
With decades of finance and operations experience, I bring a unique ability to translate financial data into useful information for management decision-making. I am excited to leverage my finance, operational, and people skills to complement the incredible pool of talent on the Sacramento SPCA Board.

We would love to hear about your family, starting with your pets…
I’m the proud mom to Zara (8-year-old malamute), Tucker and Champ (4-year-old Australian Shepherd brothers), and Hank and Roo (1-year-old malamute siblings).  My wonderful husband of 10 years loves to spoil them.

We have two grown children who live a short drive from us. We are also fortunate to have our parents, siblings, and lots of nieces/nephews with whom we love to spend time.

Finally, what excites you about being part of the Sacramento SPCA Board of Directors?
I’m thrilled to be able to help more animals (beyond those in my home) and our community. The Sacramento SPCA has amazing programs that help pets find their people, and help people take the best care of their pets.  The staff at the Sacramento SPCA is so incredibly dedicated and passionate; it’s truly contagious to be around people who love animals so much.
