Foster FURlough
The Sacramento SPCA Foster FURlough Program allows you to take an adoptable dog on a field trip!
Whether you’d like a hiking buddy or a couch companion for a movie marathon, FURlough field trips allow our canine friends to get a break from the shelter environment, tell us more about their personality and habits, and even meet potential adopters.
To plan your day with a FURlough friend:
Step 1: Complete the FURlough orientation - This online orientation can be completed at your convenience and takes about 10-15 minutes!
Step 2: Fill out your FURlough Friend Profile- Tell us more about you!
Step 3: Sign up for a pick up appointment!- Appointments are typically available Monday through Sunday
