The Sacramento SPCA Wellness Clinic is working hard to schedule appointments in a timely manner. Due to the overwhelming demand in veterinary services at the SPCA and throughout the region, please expect a 3- to 4-week wait for the next available appointment. PLEASE NOTE: priority scheduling is given to those with financial hardships and timeliness of patient need.
IF YOUR PET IS SICK OR EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, PLEASE SEEK CARE AT AN EMERGENCY CLINIC OR FULL-SERVICE VETERINARY FACILITY IMMEDIATELY. This appointment request form is not intended for patients experiencing urgent, emergency, and/or life-threatening medical conditions.
Expanded services (testing, toenail trims, anal glands, etc.) available with veterinary exam appointments only.
Minor Medical Conditions include:
- Wellness Exams
- Eye/Ear Infections
- Skin diseases/infections
- Parasite control and prevention (fleas, ticks, intestinal parasites, Heart worm prevention, ear mites, skin mites)
- Minor wounds
We DO NOT perform the following services/treatments at this time:
- Parvo Virus infection in Puppies
- Dental cleaning and/or extractions
- Tumor removal(s)
- Xrays (for illness or injury)
