Sacramento SPCA to Hold Spring Adoptathon

News & Events >> Press Releases >>Sacramento SPCA to Hold Spring Adoptathon

April 28, 2009

(Sacramento, CA) -- Looking for that special someone? Don't miss the Sacramento SPCA's Spring Adoptathon event.

When: Thursday, May 7 through Sunday, May 10 from 11 am - 6 pm.

Where: Sacramento SPCA Adoption Center at 6201 Florin Perkins Road in Sacramento.

What: All animal adoption fees will be reduced by half during the event. Dogs $50; cats $42.50; small animals from $5-$15. Adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery (for dogs, cats, rabbits), microchip, vaccinations and more for dogs and cats.

Why: The Sacramento SPCA hopes to place more than 150 animals during its Spring Adoptathon. The SPCA placed more than 6,000 animals in loving homes in 2008, setting a shelter record. Due to the economy and other factors, the SPCA is receiving and caring for more animals than ever before. The SPCA Spring Adoptathon is a wonderful way to spotlight shelter animals and to find loving homes for homeless animals.
