Sacramento SPCA Announces Spring Book Sale News & Events >> Press Releases >>Sacramento SPCA Announces Spring Book Sale April 7, 2009 What: The Sacramento SPCA will hold its Annual Spring Book Sale featuring thousands new and used books at dog-gone great prices! The sale, one of the largest book sales of its kind in Northern California, will include 40 categories, including fine and rare books, fiction, children and teens, mystery, adventure, science fiction, biography, history, westerns, art, reference, business, cultural issues, foreign language, humor and home and garden. When: Dates: April 18-26 Hours: Monday - Saturday from 10AM-8PM and Sunday from 11AM - 6PM Where: Marketplace at Birdcage - 6187 Sunrise Boulevard (next door to Long's Drug Store), Citrus Heights Why: Proceeds from the Sacramento SPCA's twice-yearly book sale will benefit the more than 12,000 abandoned, abused and unwanted animals cared for by the SPCA annually.
