March 1, 2010

(Sacramento, CA) - The Sacramento SPCA is celebrating legendary author and illustrator Dr. Seuss's birthday with a PUT a CAT in YOUR HAT adoption special.

Beginning on March 2, what would have been Seuss's 106th birthday and running through Sunday, March 7, the SPCA is waiving the fee on all approved cat adoptions, and giving away a FREE HAT with EVERY CAT! In addition, cat adoptions include a spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, a microchip and more!

The SPCA will care for more than 6,000 cats and kittens in 2010. The SPCA is open Tuesday - Sunday from 11AM to 6PM and is located at 6201 Florin Perkins Road in Sacramento.
