Sacramento SPCA Spay and Neuter Clinic

In May of 2007, we opened our new first-of-its-kind, High-Volume Spay/Neuter Clinic in Sacramento. Like the rest of the nation, the Greater Sacramento area faces an almost overwhelming pet overpopulation crisis that over-burdens local animal shelters and leads to senseless euthanasia of animals. Through Spay/Neuter Clinic services and other shelter programs, the Sacramento SPCA is committed to doing its part to put an end to pet overpopulation in Sacramento.

The Sacramento SPCA operates a low-cost spay and neuter clinic BY APPOINTMENT ONLY Monday through Saturday, with drop off from 7:15 am to 8:00 am and pick up from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. The clinic is open residents of the County of Sacramento only. If you would like to schedule an appointment or wish to have someone return your call, please call (916) 383-7387, ext. 9122.

"We Pay to Spay Program" for Pit Bulls and Pit Bull Mixes

The Sacramento SPCA offers free spay or neuter for pit bulls or pit bull mixes BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Surgery is done at the SSPCA. Call 383-7387, ext. 9017 to make an appointment or, click here to send an e-mail to our We Pay to Spay program. The We Pay To Spay program is available only to Sacramento County residents and West Sacramento residents. You must show proof of residency at the time of your appointment.
