OtherAnimal's Name:Sam RaimiPet's Picture
Case Number:91938
Species:Rabbit
Gender:Male
Age:1 Years 7 Months
Color:Brown
Fee:$45
Description:Sam is a laid back sort of bunny, a soft Rex mix. He is very relaxed and flopped down comfortably several times when I was there. He was curious about the celery treat I gave him, munched it, and let me pet him for quite a long time. Even though he is very new at the SSPCA, he is already showing that he is friendly and easy going.

Sam has lived with dogs, cats, and other rabbits. He plays with toys, likes fresh treats, and his favorite food is Timothy hay.

Rabbits can be litter trained relatively easy. Make sure the sides of the litter box are low enough for a rabbit to get in and out easily and NEVER use clay or clumping litter due to possible ingestion leading to severe illness. There is a wider variety of safe, pelleted bedding available through pet stores, veterinarians, and rabbit clubs.

Sam is waiting to meet you! /AHF
